Amy Dunbar - Volunteer Coordinator
Amy is from Colorado and is a graduate of Rampart High School, class of 1987. She attended the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy and San Diego State to receive her certification and license in both Neuromuscular therapy and high-risk pregnancy therapy. She participated in a 5-year internship with Dr. Robert Wolfson, Perinatologist, then continued to work for him an additional 7 years.
She started working for Curves International part-time in 2006. She went on to purchase this franchise. She both owned and managed the business, which gave her hands-on experience in customer service, caring for people, multi-tasking and creating an amazing experience for all who joined her club. Amy has always found comfort and value in reaching out to people and providing exceptional care and customer service.
Amy is a wife, 31 years and going strong! She and her husband, Rick, raised two wonderful daughters, Sarah and Missy. Amy now has two amazing sons-in-law and has three beautiful grandbabies. She is very close to her parents and siblings. Family is a huge priority to her. Amy also loves camping, photography and event planning.
About 4 years ago Amy started volunteering at Crossfire. She has worked in many areas and has been a community champion for Crossfire. She has recently closed her Curves business and was seeking a fulfilling job, working with and helping people, in this new chapter of her life.
We know that God's timing is perfect! He has been orchestrating this transition, even before we knew it would happen! We are excited to have her on our team. Her passion for people and her love for God will enhance the volunteer experience at Crossfire. Come by and meet her or send her a welcome email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
