Doing good and showing love have never been more immediate, practical and rewarding.

Volunteering at Crossfire lifts you out of the trap of good intentions and unleashes you to meet practical needs. What’s more, we want to tap your gifts and experience to make you the most effective volunteer you can be. There are more ways to serve than you might imagine!

Ways you can volunteer

  • Grocery store

Working the floor enables you to welcome and serve our guests while you monitor shelves and even do a bit of carryout. Some of our volunteers are specifically here to pray with our guests who request it.

  • Warehousing and pick-up

Whether you drive a Crossfire box truck, guide a forklift or rotate inventory, you are close to the action of providing nutritious food.

  • HYGIENE DEPARTMENT

Packaging personal hygiene items and assembling guest orders are all part of providing for good health and hygiene. `

  • Thrift store retail and processing

From receiving, sorting, stocking and checkout, we need you to create a welcoming shopping experience.

  • Ministry support

Crossfire eagerly embraces volunteers who bring specialized business expertise. Let’s talk about your professional and life assets and how they can serve Crossfire.

When you volunteer, we’ll stand with you.

Crossfire will provide you with a thorough introduction to our organizational history and overview. We’ll discuss your personal skills and interests as well as provide practical training for the opportunity you choose.

Whether you volunteer as an individual or whether you are part of a group, we’ll seek to make your time important as we equip you with the training you need.
