Today, in anticipation of National Pie Day, Heart to Table is sharing a favorite no-crust pumpkin/squash pie—simple, affordable, and designed to feed many. This approach reflects our broader commitment to practical food education and dignity-centered care—helping households make the most of available resources.


—RECIPE—

Pumpkin / Squash No-Crust Pie

(Serves 16 slices)

Ingredients:
• 3½ cups pumpkin or winter squash puree (or one 28 oz can)
• 4 eggs
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup flour or Bisquick
• 1 can evaporated milk
• 1 stick butter, melted
• 2 cups white sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 2 tsp ground ginger

Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F
2️⃣ Blend all ingredients until smooth
3️⃣ Pour into 2 greased pie pans
4️⃣ Bake for 55 minutes and cool before serving
